It all started with an unusual vision of a Surgeon, who wanted to make available an state of art Endoscopy Facility for poor patients in public sector tertiary care hospital and a dream of a renowned UK trained gastroenterologist endeavoring to give back to the poor community of the Province. It’s true that if your intentions are pure and noble and you have the drive, God will carve the path for you. At the inception this project started in a small two-roomed endoscopy facility housed within a Surgical Unit at Civil Hospital Karachi. In 2006, the endoscopy facility was started in surgical ward of civil hospital, run by surgical faculty under the leadership of a Philanthropist gastroenterologist. This initiative was the first ever of its kind in the history of this province.
