Dr. Safia Zafar Siddiqui is an accomplished Consultant Anaesthesiologist and academic leader with extensive experience in anaesthesia, intensive care, and pain management. Currently serving as the Head of the Department of Anaesthesia at the Sindh Institute of Advanced Gastroenterology (SIAG), she plays a pivotal role in overseeing perioperative care, sedation practices, and critical care services for complex gastroenterological and hepatobiliary procedures.
A distinguished clinician and educator, Dr. Siddiqui previously led the Department of Anaesthesia, SICU, and Pain Management at Dow Medical College, where she contributed significantly to postgraduate training and curriculum development.
