Dr. Marwan Hamed Mostafa Elaqaad is a skilled and dedicated Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal and liver disorders. He completed his Advanced Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the Sindh Institute of Advanced Gastroenterology & Hepatology (SIAG), where he was actively involved in advanced endoscopic procedures, patient care, and academic research.

Dr. Elaqaad holds the Jordanian Board in Gastroenterology and Hepatology and the Palestinian Board in Internal Medicine, complemented by fellowship training at Jordan University Hospital. His clinical expertise spans diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, ERCP, and hepatobiliary interventions. As a Good Clinical Practice (GCP)–certified clinician, he continues to contribute to research and the advancement of evidence-based gastroenterology and hepatology.

  • Diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower GI endoscopy (gastroscopy and colonoscopy) — over 300 procedures performed at SIAG
  • Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) — approximately 80 fluoroscopic and therapeutic cases performed at SIAG
  • Management of biliary and pancreatic disorders
  • Evaluation and treatment of gastrointestinal bleeding and peptic ulcer disease
  • Screening and surveillance colonoscopy for colorectal cancer prevention
  • Comprehensive management of viral hepatitis and chronic liver disease
